Who are we?

A Dutch design agency, based in Indonesia

We’re an international team of European and Asian designers who put our heart and soul into our work. We love to share experiences and knowledge, and most of all: our culture. We love it so much that we even based our company name on it.

In article 36A of the Indonesian constitution, the Indonesian motto is described: Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. In English, this means ‘unity in diversity’. At our agency, we have the honor of connecting different worlds and cultures. All cultures have their unique aspects that we can learn from.

A personal message from Thijs, the managing director

Being a Dutchie throughout, moving to Indonesia was a big step. Different culture, hot weather, and spicy foods… But honestly, it’s a step I have never regretted. The people and culture are so amazing that it’s hard to not feel welcomed in this country.

That’s why I am so happy I had the opportunity to start Article 36. Together with our awesome team, we help you with our captivating designs.
